I’ll start by just throwing it out there….This is one of my favourite shoots ever and I love it to bits. It wasn’t just a shoot, it was a proper adventure! Soooo much fun.

Gary and Samantha live in Hong Kong but used to live in England. They planned a visit back to the UK and wanted to get some engagement photographs done while they were over here, revisiting their old haunts – central London where they used to spend their weekends, and Essex where they used to live.

So…. what ensued was a mammoth whirlwind day-long tour with lots of pictures on the way. We started off in Hyde Park Corner where we took the old routemaster bus to Piccadilly Circus…. had a wander around and went for a pint before getting the tube to Liverpool Street… took an overland train to Chelmsford…. went to their old flat and local chippy…. then hopped in the car to a beautiful rapeseed field just outside Chelmsford…. then ended up at a beautiful woodland park as the sun set.

Gary and Samantha were brilliant fun to spend the day with and an absolute pleasure to photograph. A beautiful, happy, fun-loving couple who I know will have a wonderful life together. Thanks so much to both of them for giving me an absolute belter of a day at work!
